Receiving Furniture

Please note - We do not make appointments directly with furniture recipients. Please do not call us if you are looking for furniture.

To receive furniture from Furniture Bank one needs to be referred from one of our "registered" partner agencies or shelters.

Individuals seeking appointments should contact their housing worker to determine if their agency is a 'registered agency' with Furniture Bank. If the agency/shelter is on our list, they are familiar with the booking process. Individuals can not make appointments directly with Furniture Bank.

Furniture Bank works with agencies and shelters serving individuals and families leaving shelters for the homeless, abusive situations and those recently arrived refugees who are re-establishing a home.

If clients do not have their own transportation, Furniture Bank provides a delivery service which is available at a nominal fee.

Furniture Bank does its best to accommodate those in need based on current furniture inventory levels.

 

To receive furniture you must be referred by a "registered" partner agency or shelter.

 

 

Requests for furniture is highest during the first two weeks of a month.
